We are so excited to partner together to bring you our first Afro Heels Workshop – come strut, dance, and feel fierce with us!

Bio:

Emma Wambo is a dance artist, performer, and creative based in Seattle, WA. She’s trained in various Afro dance styles such as Azonto, N’dombolo, Naija streetstyle, etc. She’s also trained in Amapiano. Aside from training, she’s had the opportunity of sharing stages with artists like Asake, Adekunle Gold, Tiwa Savage, and Sauti Sol.

As an educator, her passion lies in giving dancers a chance to explore Afro foundations and expand on those foundations through fun interactive exercises and choreography.

In this class, we’ll cover some Afro foundations centered around movement intention and expand on those foundations with an Afro heels combo.

Bio:

Angeline Lin is a dancer, performer and teacher in the Seattle area. She is the creator of Heelin Myself at PopRox Dance Studio, a heels program designed for dancers at all levels to work on their heels foundation, confidence and performance. She also teaches heels at Westlake Dance Center. Angeline has trained with ZTheory, is currently the Managing Director of ZaysBaes and also dances with Muse Movements.

In this class, we will cover some heels foundations like bevels, walks, basic floorwork and other foundational heels movement.
