The Most Boring Book Event Ever! – Salt Lake City, UT

Prepare to yawn as we celebrate the launch of The Most Boring Book Ever!

Join TKE and mega-bestselling fantasy titans Brandon Sanderson and Kazu Kibuishi to celebrate their new picture book, The Most Boring Book Ever, about an ordinary boy who is having an ordinary afternoon…until an unexpected adventure takes him by surprise.

This event is open to the public and will take place at Rose Park Elementary School: 1105 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.

Registration is required. Get your tickets on Eventbrite here. Every person attending the event will require a ticket. Tickets for adults and teens (anyone age 13 or older) include a signed copy of the book. Tickets for children (anyone age 12 or younger) are free but still need to be registered.

This event will also be recorded if you’re not able to attend in person! (Details forthcoming.)

Copies of the book are included in the ticket price, but will also be available for purchase at the event. Both authors backlist titles will be available for purchase as well; signed copies are not guaranteed (please see below). The best way to ensure that you get a copy of your favorite title is to pre-order ahead of the event, either on our website or by calling directly at 801-484-9100. Please specify in the comments if you’ll be attending the event and would like to pick up your ordered copies there.

NOTE ON SEATING: Seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors open at 5pm. Kids will also be allowed to sit on the floor closer to the stage and parents may use the standing room in front or back. If you have ADA accomodations, please email marketing@kingsenglish.com ahead of the event so we can make sure proper seating is marked off for you.

NOTE ON SIGNING: Brandon and Kazu will each personalize and sign one copy of The Most Boring Book Ever and sign one backlist title. This means that each attendee who has purchased a copy of The Most Boring Book Ever with their ticket may get it signed and personalized, and two additional books, one by Brandon Sanderson, and one by Kazu Kibuishi.
