This breathtaking, 70-90 minute excursion offers a panoramic view of the geologically fascinating landscape, giving you an opportunity to step out and explore the Pillars during the river’s lower months of July and August. Whether you’re looking to take a refreshing dip in the river, or to admire its natural beauty, make sure to come equipped with water shoes or strap-on sandals and a swimsuit. *RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
-Check-in at the AWOL kiosk. Located in the back corner of Centennial Waterfront Park (behind the pavilion)
-MARCH-MAY – Tours offered Saturday and Sunday
-JUNE-AUGUST – Tours offered Tuesday thru Sunday
-SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER – Tours offered Saturday and Sunday
-Tour will last approximately 70-90 minutes
-Wear clothing appropriate for the weather. A light jacket is recommended on windy days
-Complimentary bottled water available during tour
-Hiking shoes or strap-on sandals recommended for walking around the Pillar Falls area
-You’re welcome to wear swimsuits (during summer months) and jump in the river while at the Pillars
-All guides are licensed with the State of Idaho
