Designed by an Oxford-trained food scholar and former Travel-and-Leisure editor, this gastronomic adventure is for passionate foodies that enjoy a mix of history, culture, food, and drink as it relates to Montreal city past and present. You’ll explore Montreal’s iconic food markets from the insider perspective of a Chef trained in Michelin-star restaurants, visiting butchers, cheesemongers, restaurant wholesalers, rare tea suppliers. You’ll picnic by an old Industrial canal on local cheeses and Canada’s best sourdough breads. You’ll explore ethnic and street foods from – depending the day – immigrant cultures such as SE Asia, North Africa, Italy, Eastern Europe, and Jewish cultures, among others. Option to add wine or craft beer to your picnic at an added cost. We cap our tours at 6 people unless requested for more as a single group.
