Your guide will lead you to rural locations where you can view rare Whooping Cranes. You will be able to view these magnificent birds from your personal vehicle without disturbing the birds.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Your guide will guide you to a rural location about 100 km from Saskatoon where Whooping Cranes are known to stop during fall migration. You can view the birds with your own binoculars. Your guide will supply a spotting scope to view the birds under high magnification. Your guide will identify all birds seen which will likely include Snow Geese, Ross’s Geese, White-fronted Geese, Lapland Longspurs, Bald Eagles and many other birds. Your round-trip driving distance will be between 300 and 400 km. Bring your own food for lunch.
