Celebrate Disney’s blockbuster “Hocus Pocus” with an enchanting walking tour in Salem. Starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, much of this 1993 classic was filmed in Salem, and you can explore five of the movie’s filming locations.
Begin your tour at Salem Common, where you will meet your guide. Visit the high school, the dance hall, Allison’s house, and the Dennison house. Conclude your journey at Pioneer Village, where Binx and Emily lived in the film (open on weekends only).
Along the way, delve into the history of Salem, including the infamous Salem Witch Trials, the town’s maritime heritage, and its transformation into the “Witch City.” Enjoy a trivia game on one of the most beloved movies of the 20th century and get a swag bag as a memento of your magical adventure.
*Pioneer Village is only open June thru October on weekends only (requires a separate $5 fee for admission). If you choose to do this tour on a weekday or during or after inclement weather Pioneer Village will not be available.
****The end of the tour ends in a different location than the start. You will need to find your own transportation back to downtown. Uber/lyft etc.
