Puerto Vallarta: Sea turtle release at Sunset – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
NATURE ENCOUNTER AT THE SEA TURTLE CAMP A conservation adventure with Olive Ridley Sea Turtle on Puerto Vallarta coast.
EXPERIENCE:
A conservation adventure with Olive Ridley Sea Turtle on Puerto Vallarta coast.
The area of Banderas Bay boasts incredible biodiversity, due to variations in ecosystems and habitats, as a result, it has a large number of animal species, including reptiles.
From a few months each year on Puerto Vallarta coastline, Olive Ridley sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs in the sand. Under the cover of darkness, baby hatchlings scurry to the sea, remembering forever their birthplace to which they will one day return to continue the cycle of life.
Our adventure provides an encounter with this miracle, where you will be able to release hatchlings into the ocean and support the ongoing work of a dedicated team of Mexican biologists to increase the survival rate of the endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles.
