EXPERIENCE:
LIVE THIS EXPERIENCE BULL SHARK DIVE IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Dive with bull sharks in their natural habitat, only for adventurers ….
Live this unique experience. This dive is perfect for adventurers who want to interact with the kings of the SEA. Bull Sharks come to Playa del Carmen from end of November to early March season to the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean, giving us divers the opportunity to interact with these magnificent SHARKS.
Playa del Carmen becomes an extra special place from the first days of December to the middle of March as this region welcomes hundreds of female bull sharks who visit to have their babies.
You will meet these majestic creatures on the seafloor during an unforgettable 80 Ft (25m) deep static dive. Holding a rope at the bottom, you will have front row seats while the bull sharks gracefully fly over the sand.
Bull sharks are not shy so be prepared to encounter these elegant creatures up close and personal as they swim casually by the divers.
It’s an exhilarating adventure that will get your adrenaline pumping, but there’s nothing to be afraid of! Being pregnant females, the sharks you’ll see are gentle and simply going about life in their natural environment. Plus our operators take all the measures to keep you and the sharks safe – there has never been a single incident diving with bull sharks across the whole Riviera Maya.
After your bull shark dive you will have another dive in a coral reef off Playa del Carmen full of tropical fish and if you’re lucky, turtles too!
You must have a minimum certification of Open Water for this special adventure. Not certified, but still want to experience the bull sharks? We can help you get certified fast with PADI Open Water courses in the region – just ask us in our live chat!
Help us protect our beautiful oceans by avoiding sunblock before swimming, unless it’s biodegradable – the chemicals hurt the reefs and cause bleaching.
