EXPERIENCE

Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Ushuaia, and then journey to the Carbajal-Tierra Mayor Valley for the start of an intense and challenging hike through the beautiful landscapes of the Fuegian Andes. Trek uphill along a trail surrounded by 100-year-old lenga trees of the sub-Antarctic forest. Arrive at the top of the mountain and get incredible views of your surroundings.

Continue to the glacial Turquoise Lagoon and marvel at its wonderful color before climbing a rocky ledge to reach the top of Mount Carbajal by about Midday.

Gaze in awe at the trail of glaciers that crossed the valley and descended towards the Beagle Channel during the last period of glacial activity. Pause to enjoy your lunch as you take in the epic views. Then, start your return trek back to base where the vehicles will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Ushuaia.
