Tanzania: 7-Day Serengeti Family Safari  – Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

EXPERIENCE

DAY 1: ARRIVAL
• Meet and greet at the airport or in Arusha with a representative from MyTrip2Tanzania.
• Proceed to your accommodation. 1 hour of driving to the lodge and obtaining the travel schedule for the whole journey.
• Town tour (optional) It depends on arrival time.
• Dinner and overnight at Under the Shades

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
• Start your safari adventure from Arusha by heading to Tarangire National Park, The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours.
• Spend the day exploring the park, known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse bird species.
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• Enjoy a full day game drive exploring the park’s wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
• Dinner and Overnight at Marera Valley lodge

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
• Heading to Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the way.
• Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, so be on the lookout for wildebeest, zebras, and predators.
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• Dinner and overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented camp

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY
• Spend the entire day exploring the central or southern Serengeti, maximizing your chances of witnessing the Great Migration and encountering diverse wildlife.
• Consider a hot air balloon safari for a unique perspective (optional and subject to availability).
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• Dinner and overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented camp

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
• Depart early in the morning after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, known for its stunning Ngorongoro Crater.
• Descending 600m deep to the world’s largest unbroken caldera which hosts varieties of animals includes the rare black Rhino, lion, leopard, elephants, hippos. Birds includes flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more
• Lunch will be served on the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitokitok swamp a Hippo pool.
• Dinner and Overnight at Manyara Safari Lodge

DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
• Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and beautiful landscapes.
• in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife as it the home of more than 500 species of birds.
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• After the game drive, return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
• Dinner and overnight at Under the Shades Safari Lodge

DAY 7: DEPARTURE
• On your last day with us, depart from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha for your next destination.
• This safari can be combined with a Zanzibar beach or road trip; feel free to ask us about this option.
