Today we will depart from Washington, D.C. and drive to Philadelphia. First, we will take a visit at the Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in the National Independence Historical Park, both representing the values of freedom and independence. Then we ll go to the Philadelphia City Hall, the tallest pure stone building in the world, and listen to the pulsating sound of the center of Philadelphia! Finally, follow us to explore The Franklin Institute. Liberty Bell
The famously cracked Liberty Bell is a sign of American Independence and spirit. Located at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, this symbol of the American Revolution was crafted in 1752 – more than over 250 years ago.

Independence Hall
One of Philadelphia’s most famous landmarks, Independence Hall in Independence National Historical Park is the location where both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated, written, and ratified by the Founding Fathers of the United States.

Philadelphia City Hall
With over 14.5 acres of floor space, City Hall is the largest municipal building in the United States and an architectural treasure inside and out. Topped with an iconic statue of Philadelphia founder William Penn, the 548-foot tower is the tallest masonry structure in the world without a steel frame, and it was the tallest building in Philadelphia until 1987. The public rooms are among the most lavish in the city; the City Council Chamber, the Mayor s Reception Room, Conversation Hall and the Supreme Court Room are some of the most ornate. The building s exterior is covered with intricate sculptures representing the seasons and continents, as well as allegorical figures including heads and masks.

The Franklin Institute
The Franklin Institute is a science museum and the center of science education and research in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is named after the American scientist and statesman, Benjamin Franklin, and houses the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial. Founded in 1824, the Franklin Institute is one of the oldest centers of science education and development in the United States.
