EXPERIENCE

Explore the “City of a Thousand Towers” on a full-day tour from Cairo with round-trip bus transfers from Safaga or Soma Bay Bay.

Relax in A private vehicle in air-conditioned comfort and admire the beauty of the Gulf of Suez on this long journey from Safaga or Soma Bay. You will be accompanied by a transfer tour guide who will accompany you throughout the journey until you meet your Egyptologist guide.

Upon arrival, your personal Egyptologist guide will meet you and take you to the Giza Plateau to visit the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Giza Pyramids as you explore the mortuary temples of Khufu, Chephron, and Menserinus.

Learn about the construction of the temple and the stories behind its legends. Continue to the Sphinx, a giant reclining statue of a mythical animal with the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Khafre. Head to the Valley Temple across the way, believed to have been built by Pharaoh Khafre, and marvel at the feats of ancient engineering.

Then take a 30-minute lunch break at a local restaurant. Then head to downtown Cairo and explore artifacts with skip-the-line access to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. You can also add a Nile cruise and camel ride to your trip when booking.

Designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the museum’s collection includes more than 120,000 masterpieces from the Predynastic to the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. Learn about the ancient Egyptian art of mummification before returning to Safaga or Soma Bay.

After visiting all the attractions, you can make a short stop for shopping before returning to Safaga or Soma Bay.
