EXPERIENCE

Rimini is home to the National Motorcycle Museum. Since 1993 the first in Italy opened to the public. A museum with the specific peculiarity of treating the matter “Motorcycle” from its origins to the present day. Over 250 examples of 55 different brands, organically arranged, retrace the history of this fantastic two-wheeled vehicle. You can admire the first vehicles, built at the end of the ‘800 and early ‘900, the sidecars, the motorcycles of considerable historical interest, the unique and unavailable pieces such as the Frera SS 4V of 1924, the twin-cylinder Frera with opposed valves of 1140 c.c., The Moto Guzzi 500 GTV of 1937 belonged to the artist Antonio Ligabue, the very fast Grand Prix bikes and prototypes of international fame like the Bimota. Aermacchi, Benelli, BSA, Ducati, Frera, Harley Davidson, Henderson, Innocenti, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Norton, Piaggio, Rudge and Triumph are just some of the brands present.
The museum is divided into several themes: the bikes of the pioneers, the period between the two wars, the sidecar, the scooters, the grand prix motorcycles, utilitarian production of the post-war period, the bikes designed and built in Rimini, the 1970s.
