EXPERIENCE:

Opened in 1995, the Aviation Museum, with its 80,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 40 aircraft on display, is the largest of its kind in Italy and one of the largest in Europe.

The exhibition will take place on a hill, where you’ll take off on a journey through the history of aviation surrounded by beautiful greenery.

The museum features an indoor section with a rich display of medals and historical photos, as well as a collection of uniforms and flight suits used by pilots and special forces in the early twentieth century. In the outdoor section of the exhibition, on the hillside, you can observe more than 40 aircraft, such as the historic Saiman 202, a replica of the Fokker drI, the Republic F-84F and RF, the A.B. 47G2 and G3, the G.91 P.A.N., R and T, the Piaggio P.148 and 166, Aermacchi MB.326, Grumman and many others. The exhibition ends with a variety of aviation service vehicles: mobile radar stations, fire trucks, oxygen refuelers and much more. Last but not least, the exhibition involves a section dedicated to aeromodeling.
