Discover the ancient wonders of Peru with a 2-day excursion from Cuzco. Explore Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, and take a 2-hour guided tour to the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu.
Day 1: Sacred Valley
The tour starts with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco (located within the historic center, if your hotel is far from the historic center we will establish a meeting point).
for this excursion, we have two modalities
Option 1: Complete Sacred Valley: If you choose the 6:30 A.M. departure time, visit Chinchero, Maras-Moray, and Ollantaytambo.
Option 2: Classic Sacred Valley: If you choose the 7:50 A.M. departure time, you will visit Pisaq and Ollantaytambo.
After having a guided tour (in both modalities) and after lunch (Urubamba) we will stay in Ollantaytambo and then go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night to visit Machu Picchu the next day (At night the guide will pass by the hotel to give you all the details for your visit to Machu Picchu). (hotel night not included)
Day 2: Machu Picchu citadel
The tour starts very early, we will go to the bus station where we will board the respective bus to get to the incredible wonder of the world Machu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas”.
Arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will show an entrance ticket, from this place we will start the guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (included).
In the afternoon you will take the train back to Cusco (check-in 30 minutes before the departure of your train). The return will be by the same route as the outbound journey, upon arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
