Private Tour of Southern Albania – Gjirokaster District, Albania

EXPERIENCE

The tour starts from Tirana in the morning (I will come to pick you up wherever you want also at the airport). Afterwards we will proceed to the world heritage city Berat which with its typical neighborhoods, its castle and its 12th century church, the bridge, and the Osum river is a destination without comparison, including lunch with local cuisine! Then we will proceed to the stone town of Gjrokaster (a UNESCO world heritage site) which with its narrow streets, the roofs of the houses and the typical and unique neighborhoods of Gjrocaster will take you back to a medieval environment, a town with one of the most unique castles in Europe, where it is The great Albanian writer Kadare was also born! First day we have dinner and sleep in Gjirocaster or surrounding areas! On the second day we go to Saranda, a coastal town much visited and appreciated by tourists! From Saranda to Vlora it is about 150 km where the road which is also called the Albanian Riviera runs along the most beautiful beaches of Albania where you can have lunch with fish and seafood and try the delicious Albanian cuisine. Head towards Vlora for a breathtaking sunset and then back to Tirana!
