EXPERIENCE

Paulo’s tours go beyond the famous waterfalls. It features historic landmarks such as Fort George and charming towns such as Niagara-on-the-Lake, with its Victorian houses, boutiques, art galleries and elegant cafés.

Paul also surprises visitors with beach visits (yes, there are beaches in Canada!), artisan markets, cool restaurants and hidden attractions that only a local can reveal.

The tour differs from traditional tours in the amount of curious information and cultural insights that make the experience enjoyable and educational.

Oh, and as a wine expert, Paulo offers guided tours of the wineries that are true journeys of taste and knowledge. There are more than 100 wine producers in the region and you can visit several of them, such as the splendid Chateau des Charms, the traditional Konzelmann or the cool and modern 13th Street Winery.

With more than 30 years as a journalist, Paulo has been working in tourism publishing since 2003. He was editor-in-chief of Viajar pelo Mundo magazine and traveled around 56 countries reporting. He has won five journalism awards throughout his career, including two from the European Tourism Commission for his travel reports.

His almost two decades of experience in television (Bandsports and ESPN) have also enabled him to communicate in an entertaining and engaging way.

Based in Niagara, Canada, since 2021, he has a postgraduate degree (with honors) in tourism management, hospitality and gastronomy from Niagara College, which gives him a unique and in-depth perspective on this unparalleled location.
