Next up, a descent of 121 to Underground Naples. From ancient aqueducts to air raid shelters and hidden escape routes, the tunnels hold years of history. The tour comes to an end at the remains of an ancient Greco-Roman theatre. ‘The remains were discovered in the late 19th century and it can be accessed through a trapdoor under the bed of a private house’, says Giuseppe.
