  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE

Heading to the Basilica, before we will visit the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where the story of Juan Diego and the Virgin of Guadalupe begins in the church of Santiago of Tlatelolco, we will learn about the story of the Virgin and all the symbology that surrounds it, “The miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe”.

Once arriving at the Basilica, we will visit the Marian complex with its more than 7 churches and the history of the architecture of the ancient Basilica and the modern one.

Later we will go to the city of the Gods, better known as “Teotihuacán”, where you can appreciate the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Roadway of the Dead and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Also you will see the maguey (agave from which, from its fibers, the mantle of the Virgin of Guadalupe is made) and the obsidian (semi-precious stone typical of the place.) We will be able to taste pulque, the first fermented drink from maguey and the famous Mexican tequila and mezcal.
