You will be met at the entrance of the George Inn by a figure from history in full costume. They will guide you and your fellow travellers on a tour that will dive into the dark, disgusting and horrible side of London’s history.

While exploring all of the horrible realities of London’s past, not only will you learn all of this fascinating and gruesome history but you will literally see the history brought to life, as you meet figures from the history you explore! Boils, warts, bad smells and all!

Our immersive tour takes things to the next level, using professional actors. During the tour you will encounter along the way historical figures from the times that you explore that will bring the horrible history to life, face to face!

Keep an eye out for our special event tour where after the tour, you will return To The George Inn where, while sat by a warm fire, enjoying a nice drink and good food, you’re transported back to a moment lost to time, where darker truths will unfold, in a fantastic theatrical performance that brings to life a true story of murder and revenge in the very place it happened hundreds of years ago!

The tour starts – and finishes – at the historical George Inn, next to London Bridge not far from landmarks such as The Shakespeare’s Globe, The Tower of London and The Shard, so it will be easy for you to grab a drink of courage before the tour, and digest all of the horrible history with a pint after the tour.
