  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

You will begin your guided walking tour in front of Liverpool Street Station right at the edge of Spitalfields. Your expert Blue Badge Tour Guide will take you on a circular route through this incredible area that bathes in ‘old time feel’ – with the City of London skyscrapers towering over it. You will hear fascinating stories of immigration and learn why it was that Protestants, Jews, Catholics and Muslims ended up here and how they left their mark.

The route takes you past the old Huguenot houses that once housed attic workshops for silk weaving, churches, synagogues and mosques as well as an old Jewish soup kitchen that was in use until the 1990s. Of course, London’s East End is also famous for its street art of which there will be plenty to see. Your tour will conveniently end just around the corner from Old Spitalfields Market where you can indulge in a variety of lunch offers.
