Your Zakopane tour begins with a breathtaking panorama of the Tatra Mountains, viewed from the top of Gubalowka Hill, and a cable car will take you there. The charming city of Zakopane is located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. It is visited all year long by many Polish and international tourists.

Founded in the 16th century on seasonal shepherd settlements, it has evolved into an impressive city through the years. Throughout your route to Zakopane, you will stop off to ChochoBów, which is a wooden village. People still live there in the original wooden houses built by the Polish highlanders, which are under the protection of UNESCO. You will also get the chance to go inside one of them to experience how people used to live.

Following this you will visit a Bacowka (a traditional shepherd s hut), where you will have the chance to try the famous regional cheese Oscypek, and will also see how it is prepared. T

Next you will explore the local old-school bazaar and Krupowki Street, filled with restaurants, local stores and regional goods, as well as gift shops. Following lunch you will head back to Krakow, passing the famous ski jump and entering a quaint wooden church on the outskirts of Zakopane.
