EXPERIENCE

Visit the Dutch Palace, built by the Portuguese in 1555 and presented to the Raja of Cochin as a gesture of goodwill. Admire the Jewish Synagogue, originally constructed in 1568, but destroyed by the Portuguese in 1662, then rebuilt 2 years later when the Dutch took over Cochin.

See St. Francis Church, constructed in 1503, where Vasco Da Gama was buried for 14 years before his remains were taken to Lisbon. In the evening, witness Kerala s traditional and colorful dance for an extra cost.
