EXPERIENCE

Your fully guided tour starts with a brief tour through Dysart House which includes a short history of the house and an outline of the distillation process.

Dysart house has been home to the Old Kempton Distillery since November 2015. A variety of spirits are made onsite, including single malt whisky, gin, and liqueurs. All are produced using 100% Tasmanian ingredients.

Each tour is unique and an amazing opportunity to see how a distillery runs on a day-to-day basis.

The day continues with a premium antipasto platter, full of Tasmanian produce. To perfectly complement your lunch, choose from a range of Tasmanian wines for a bottle to share.

Following your tour and lunch, take a seat in the stunning Cask Lounge, located in the grand coaching inn that is the Old Kempton Cellar Door. Enjoy a guided tasting of a variety of four Old Kempton Distillery spirits.

Finish the afternoon with a browse in the Cellar Door that’s full of all of Old Kempton Distillery’s products, locally made produce, and souvenirs of your visit to Dysart House. Complete your experience with freshly brewed coffee or tea.
