Cai Be, a small town located by the river of Mekong, renown for its floating market and pop-rice cakes. On this amazing journey, you will have an opportunity to explore all the best that Cai Be offers with your private, professional and experienced English speaking tourguide.

Depart from Ho Chi Minh city on your private A/C vehicle with professional English speaking tourguide escort, passing rice paddy fields, fruit gardens and fish farms during the scenic drive for 2 hours. Upon arrival at Cai Be, be met and greeted by your local host then take a private cruise on river boat with sun-roof to Tan Phong island where you will start your biking adventure through the quite peaceful villages. First stop at Re rice-paper, you will learn how to prepare the needed ingredients to make a crispy Re rice-paper that Vietnamese always use to make deep-fried spring rolls. Second stop at Hammock weaving family, be explained and learn how to make a hammok from banana leaf with spine. Third stop at Water-Hyacinth twins where you will be gifted with a bracelet and learn how to make them with instruction from the experts. Walk around the fruit garden, pick the milk-apple or guava which are subject to availability then sit down at Mr. Nam On house to taste some fresh fruits and listen to the local performance of different types of musical instruments.

Back to your private boat then cruise to the sampan station. Enjoy the scenic ride on little wooden sampan while observing the local life of people living on this island. Next, cruise to Thanh Phong rice-liquer distillery home to learn and taste some different types of home-distilled liquer. Take a short walk to Thanh Tri pop-rice workshop to experience how the renown Cai Be rice cakes made and video the popping rice with tradition method by using the blacken sand and cooking oil.

Lunch will be served at an ancient house of Mr. Kiet, the house was built in XIX century. After lunch, take a walk through the garden or relax on the hammock at your choice before driving back to the busy city on your private A/C vehicle.
