From Naples: wine experience and visit of Fontanarosa – Naples, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

How does the tour take place? The driver will pick you up in the center of Naples and take you to the green region of Irpinia via the highway. In approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes you will arrive in the village of Fontanarosa. Here you will be accompanied by the owners of the Il Cortiglio winery on a walk around the vineyards, located close to the inhabited area. In case of adverse weather conditions and impracticability of agricultural land, we will visit the Stone, Straw, and Nativity Museum.
After stretching our legs, we will move to the village center and start the wine tasting in the historic winery dated 1247.
The wine tasting of Il Cortiglio includes:
– 3 organic wines (choice between rosé, white and red wines, including the Top one Taurasi DOCG)
– light lunch with typical products (three-course meal)
– 10% discount on the purchase of products
After the tasting session we will take a digestive walk through the streets of the town to admire the beauties made of local stone, churches, fountains, and portals.
