From Lima: Tour with Ica-Paracas-Cusco 9D/8N + Hotel . – Urubamba, Peru
EXPERIENCE
Day 1: Airport pick-up – Lima City Tour
We’ll start with a hotel pick-up at 1:30 p.m. The tour begins with a panoramic visit to the Huaca Pucllana pyramid, followed by a visit to Lima’s historic center. Later, we’ll explore the San Francisco Monastery complex to see the catacombs. Finally, we’ll visit the contemporary area of Lima and the Love Park, finishing around 6:00 p.m.
Day 2: Ballestas Islands and Huacachina
Pick-up from your Miraflores hotel around 3:00 to 4:00 a.m. We’ll first visit the Ballestas Islands, then head to a vineyard for lunch. Afterward, we’ll visit Huacachina for sandboarding and a dune buggy tour. The day ends with a transfer to your hotel in Huacachina.
Day 3: Nazca Overflight
Pick-up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. We’ll then head to the Nazca aerodrome for a 35-minute flight over the Nazca Lines, observing giant geoglyphs of animals like the monkey, spider, caiman, and bird. The tour concludes with a transfer to the Cruz del Sur bus station in Ica to board a bus to Lima (2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.).
Day 4: Airport pick-up – Cusco City Tour
The tour starts with airport pick-up and transfer to your hotel. You’ll have the morning free to rest and acclimate. At 2:00 p.m., we’ll pick you up for a city tour, visiting Qoricancha and then sites like Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. We’ll return to Cusco around 7:00 p.m.
Day 5: Sacred Valley
We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. for a tour of the Sacred Valley, visiting Pisac and then having a buffet lunch in Urubamba. After lunch, we’ll visit Ollantaytambo before heading to the train station to board the train to Machu Picchu.
Day 6: Machu Picchu
We’ll take an early bus to Machu Picchu for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Afterward, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and then returning to Cusco.
Day 7: Humantay Lake
At 4:00 a.m., we’ll pick you up and travel to Mollepata for breakfast. Then we’ll continue to Soraypampa to begin our hike to Humantay Lake. Afterward, we’ll descend to Soraypampa for transportation back to Mollepata, where we’ll have lunch before returning to Cusco.
Day 8: Rainbow Mountain
We’ll depart from the hotel at 4:00 a.m. and travel to Tintinco for a buffet breakfast. Then we’ll continue to the start of the hike, enjoying views of the Ausangate mountain. Around 10:30 a.m., we’ll reach Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain. Afterward, we’ll return to the restaurant for lunch before heading back to Cusco.
Day 9: Airport Transfer
Depending on your flight time, transportation will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the airport.
