From Cusco: Inca Trail 2Days with night in Machupicchu – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Cusco – Km 104 – Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes
On the first day you will be picked up from the hotel between 4am and 3am to take you to the Ollantaytambo train station. Then you will board the train towards km 104 on the railway where your guide will be waiting for you and you will begin the Inca trail.
You will begin with a 3-hour uphill walk to the Wiñaywayna archaeological complex where you will have time to explore and have a guide to the archaeological centers.

Day 2: Machupicchu
You will have breakfast at the hotel, then you will go to the bus station to go up to the citadel of Machupicchu. You will begin the 2.5-hour guided tour of Machupicchu. After the guided tour you will have free time to explore the Inca city, then you will return to Aguas Calientes where you will have lunch. Finally you will return by train to Ollantaytambo and from Ollantaytambo you will board a tourist transport to Cusco.
