EXPERIENCE

Itinerary
We will meet at the Plaza de Armas at 6:00 am. Here the bus will be waiting for us to take us to Sacsamarca, a cattle district located in the south of Ayacucho.

The duration of the road trip to our destination will be between four and five hours, so we will make a stop in the town of Condorccocha so you can stretch your legs and have breakfast on your own, and another in Huanca Sancos so that those who have not brought a picnic can buy something for lunch at noon.

Finally we will arrive at the Pachapupum volcano, a monument created by nature itself and whose shape resembles a cone. We will access the top of the crater through steps also formed by erosion and, once at the top, you can admire the impressive opening of 10 meters in diameter that forms the Pachapupum. If you look into this deep hole, you will see the water boiling due to the heat of the bowels of the earth.

Thousands of years ago, the action of nature also formed small wells around the crater, in which there are waters rich in minerals such as salt and sulfur. You will have the opportunity to dive into these natural pools and enjoy their properties – don’t forget to bring your swimsuit!

Finally, we will take a break so that you can take the lunch you brought with you, and then we will return by bus to Ayacucho. Arrival at the departure point is scheduled for 20:00 hours.
