Before the experience begins:
the experience begins once you step your foot in the last village of Mhamid Elghizlane the open gate to the vast sahara. our team will take care of you from the meeting point, whether you drive with your rental car or by taking the CTM bus from Marrakech, our team can also organise your transportation from and into your place of accomodation or any preference destination after the end of the tour.

Day 1: A 3.5 to 4-hour hike exploring the Moroccan desert

Your desert trek begins today! After breakfast, you’ll meet the guides and camels at M’hamid, the gateway to the Sahara. You’ll head towards the tomb of Sidi Naji, a revered marabout among nomads. On the way, you’ll pass through a stunning palm grove and enjoy lunch beneath the palm trees in a beautiful setting.
Upon arrival, you’ll settle comfortably in our bivouac, where a warm fire awaits. Enjoy a delicious dinner, captivating entertainment, and experience the traditional art of making sand bread.

Day 2: A 3.5-hour hike to Erg Ait Ounir and 4×4 transfer to Erg Chigaga

The second day starts at Sidi Naji as we head towards Erg Ait Ounir. You’ll cross the lush tamarisk forest in the Draa Valley and follow the dry riverbed. After lunch, the trek continues through the captivating desert landscapes before reaching the Erg Chigaga dunes in our private 4×4.
By early evening, you’ll settle into our luxury camp in a picturesque spot. Enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars, surrounded by the majestic Erg Chigaga dunes.

Day 3: From Erg Chigaga to M’hamid – The end of your experience

after a unique sunrise and warm traditional breakfast, you will drive slowly through the sacred oasis of Oum Lalaag once used to be a zoo for wild animals , following the road slowly and rejoin to the main starting point with unforgettable memories.
