The Mikoyan Brothers Museum is dedicated to the famous Mikoyan brothers, Anastas and Artem, who were prominent figures in Soviet politics and aviation history. The museum is located in Sanahin, a village in the Lori Province of Armenia, where the Mikoyan family originally hailed from. Anastas Ivanovich Mikoyan was a prominent Soviet statesman who played a significant role in Soviet politics throughout much of the 20th century. He served as a close associate of Soviet leaders such as Joseph Stalin and Nikita Khrushchev and held various high-ranking positions within the Communist Party and the Soviet government. Artem Ivanovich Mikoyan, on the other hand, was a distinguished aircraft designer and engineer who co-founded the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau, known for producing iconic Soviet fighter jets such as the MiG series.
