EXPERIENCE

Embark on an extraordinary journey to Nepal’s oldest UNESCO-listed national park with the Chitwan Jungle Safari. This 3-day tour introduces you to two significant cities in Nepal the cultural hub, Kathmandu, and Chitwan National Park, home to endangered wildlife.

Commencing in the beautiful city of Kathmandu, the journey heads towards Nepal’s first-ever national park, established in 1973. Encompassing 932 sq. km in the southwestern part of Nepal, Chitwan National Park is a sanctuary for endangered species like the one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, pangolins, and more, earning its place on the world heritage list in 1976.

The Chitwan Jungle Safari offers a variety of jungle activities, including jungle and jeep safaris, bird watching, canoeing, boating, and more. Participants can choose their preferred mode of exploration, whether by jeep or on foot.

Throughout the safari, one can encounter a diverse array of animals and birds, such as one-horned rhinoceros, four deer species, monkeys, wild boars, leopards, sloths, and, with luck, the Bengal tiger. The park is also home to 126 fish species, 590 butterfly species, and 47 reptile species.

For nature enthusiasts, jungle walks during dusk or dawn offer an immersive experience. Additionally, the trip includes Tharu cultural shows, providing insight into the unique Tharu culture for an enjoyable evening in Chitwan.

This Chitwan Jungle Safari is accessible to all and involves no strenuous walks. Regardless of age or physical condition, anyone can partake in this delightful tour.
