Ayacucho: Ruqruqa waterfall – Huamanga, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Departing from the main square at 7:00 am, the trip will last approximately 3 and a half hours to the community of Quispellaccta. However, halfway along the way they make a brief stop (Condorccocha) to have breakfast if they wish.
Approximate arrival time is 10:30 am to the town of Chuschi. It should be noted that the road is paved to the Quispillaccta peasant community, which is in front of Chuschi. It is in this community that the Ruqruqa waterfalls are located. The vehicle leaves us a 20-minute walk downhill to the Ruqruqa pools. Once in this place, you will not be able to bear to enter its waters, which by the way are not very cold. In addition, taking photos in the waterfalls and caves that exist on the sides of the pools. The return is at 3:00 pm to be in Ayacucho at 7:00.
