EXPERIENCE

Annapurna Circuit, is one of Nepal’s most iconic trekking routes.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Besisahar (820m)

Take a bus or private vehicle from Kathmandu to Besisahar. Besisahar is the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit.

Day 2: Besisahar to Chame (2,710m)

Due to road construction, many trekkers now take a jeep from Besisahar to Chame, skipping the initial trekking section. Enjoy views of Annapurna II, Manaslu, and Lamjung Himal.

Day 3: Chame to Pisang (3,200m)

The trail gradually ascends with views of the Annapurna range and Pisang Peak. Pass through lush forests and small settlements.

Day 4: Pisang to Manang (3,540m)

There are two routes: the upper route via Ghyaru and the lower route via Humde. The upper route offers better views but is more strenuous. Manang is a significant stop for acclimatization.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Manang

Rest and explore around Manang. Hike to Gangapurna Lake or the viewpoint above Manang for stunning views of the Annapurna range.

Day 6: Manang to Siri Kharka (4,060m)

The trek to Siri Kharka is relatively easy with gradual ascents. Siri Kharka is a quiet settlement with amazing views.

Day 7: Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m)

Trek through rugged terrain with possible landslide areas. Arrive at the base camp and rest.

Day 8: Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake (4,919m) and back to Siri Kharka

Start early to visit Tilicho Lake, which is a highlight of the trek. After spending time at the lake, descend back to Siri Kharka.

Day 9: Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka (4,110m)

Retrace your steps to join the Annapurna Circuit route. Trek to Yak Kharka, a popular stop before Thorong La Pass.

Day 10: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,525m)

A relatively short but challenging trek to Thorong Phedi. Some trekkers prefer staying at High Camp (4,800m) for a shorter ascent to Thorong La the next day.

Day 11: Thorong Phedi to Thorong La Pass (5,416m) to Muktinath (3,800m)

Start early to cross the Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek. After the pass, descend to Muktinath, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 12: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720m)

Descend through the arid Mustang region to Jomsom, a windy town at the bottom of the Kali Gandaki gorge. You can also take a jeep or bus from Muktinath to Jomsom.

Day 13: Jomsom to Tatopani (1,190m)

Take a jeep to Tatopani and enjoy the natural hot springs to relax after the long trek.

Day 14: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,875m)

Climb through rhododendron forests to reach Ghorepani, famous for its sunrise views over the Himalayas.

Day 15: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m) and trek to Nayapul, then drive to Pokhara

Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Trek down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu (by bus)
