EXPERIENCE

Ashs Plek is a secret pop-up restaurant in Amsterdam serving delicious Jamaican food in a dinner party style with a side of laughter, great conversations and new connections.

In a Jamaican household, Sunday dinner is an important meal. A common joke in Jamaica is that the chef of the household starts cooking Sunday dinner at the same time as preparing breakfast because of the time, effort and love that goes into preparing Sunday dinner for the family and neighbours or friends.

Sunday dinner at Ashs Plek is a chilled dinner party with two courses served in sharing bowls so that guests can help themselves to as much or as little as they want. It is the perfect way to end a busy weekend in Amsterdam and relax with delicious food and great company.

Dinner parties at Ashs Plek are a great activity for couples, groups and solo travellers because guests mingle and chat with each other and Chef Ash throughout the experience.

Chef Ash will introduce you to Jamaican food and culture, traditional recipes and incredible homemade Jamaican cocktails and soft drinks. Travellers will also benefit from Chef Ash’s tips and recommendations for other great activities in Amsterdam.

Ashs Plek enjoys a perfect 5 star rating on Trip Advisor, Airbnb Experiences and Google Reviews so don’t miss out on Amsterdam’s most unique dining experience.
