Explore creativity, connection, and self-discovery through the art of collage. In this hands-on workshop, participants are guided to create their own unique collage artwork using a wide variety of materials. With an emphasis on experimentation and personal expression, the session is designed to inspire you and romanticize the small moments in your life.
We begin with an introduction to the art of collage, where you’ll learn about notable collage artists, basic design principles, and creative techniques to help spark your imagination. A short creative ice-breaker activity will help ease you into the process and connect with fellow participants.
Next, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your own artistic ideas with materials like vintage magazines, dried flowers, fabric scraps, paint, markers, scissors, and glue. Whether you’re creating a meaningful story, experimenting with texture and colour, or simply allowing your intuition to guide you, this workshop welcomes all experience levels.
Take time to reflect and create at your own pace, surrounded by a supportive atmosphere of creativity and community. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed or in-progress collage that represents your unique artistic voice.
All materials are provided, and the cost of materials is included in the ticket price. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and an open mind!

Classes will take place at Meridian Hall in the Rehearsal Hall.

Mash Vass is a multimedia and collage artist whose work has been featured in exhibitions and online publications worldwide, with some pieces in private collections. Her art focuses on storytelling and self-exploration, blending multiple mediums to craft engaging narratives. In 2019, she attended the Mudhouse Art Residency in Crete, refining her practice amidst the island’s rich artistic heritage. In 2022, she participated in the Iris Artist Program and SkopArt Residency in Greece. Most recently, she was invited to the prestigious Château d’Orquevaux residency in France in 2023. These experiences continue to shape her exploration of identity, transformation, and life’s cycles.
