Le Festival Champa est un événement culturel de trois jours qui se tiendra en mai 2025 à la Place des Arts célébrant le riche patrimoine du Cambodge et de l’Asie du Sud-Est.
23 mai 2025 – Soirée d’ouverture : L’âge d’or du Cambodge
Une célébration de la musique cambodgienne des années 1960 avec des performances en direct et des projections.Mise en valeur de la gastronomie cambodgienne avec des collaborations de restaurants locaux.Exploration de l’histoire culturelle du Cambodge avant la guerre à travers des échanges et des présentations et expositions.
24 mai 2025 – Spectacle principal : Bangsokol: A Requiem for Cambodia
Une œuvre musicale et visuelle mêlant orchestre, chant et images d’archives pour retracer l’histoire du génocide cambodgien. Un hommage à la résilience et à la mémoire du peuple cambodgien, présenté à la Place des Arts.
25 mai 2025 – Conférence et expérience culinaire
Une conférence réunissant experts, artistes et intellectuels pour discuter du renouveau culturel et économique du Cambodge.Expérience gastronomique dirigée par le chef Chanthy Yen, mettant en avant l’évolution et l’héritage de la cuisine cambodgienne.
Exposition artistique – 23 au 25 mai 2025
Tout au long du festival, une exposition artistique se tiendra au Salon Urbain de la Place des Arts, offrant une immersion dans la richesse visuelle et contemporaine de la culture cambodgienne et d’Asie du Sud-Est.

May 24, 2025 – Main Performance: Bangsokol: A Requiem for Cambodia
A powerful musical and visual production combining orchestra, vocals, and archival footage to recount the history of the Cambodian genocide.A tribute to the resilience and memory of the Cambodian people, presented at Place des Arts.
May 25, 2025 – Conference and Culinary Experience
A conference bringing together experts, artists, and intellectuals to discuss Cambodia’s cultural and economic revival. A culinary experience led by Chef Chanthy Yen, highlighting the evolution and heritage of Cambodian cuisine. Throughout the festival, an art exhibition will take place at the Salon Urbain at Place des Arts, offering an immersive exploration of Cambodian and Southeast Asian contemporary and traditional visual arts.
