Calling all writers, hobbyists, and artists alike! Interested in learning some basic bookbinding methods to put together your poetry or loose drawings? Would you like to make your own sketchbook or journal? This class serves as a gateway to bookbinding and introduces you to three basic methods in which you can make a simple but effective book. Focusing on soft covers, we’ll cover pamphlet stitches, stab bindings, and side bindings with participants going home with at least 3 new books to fill. These skills are easily replicated at home, and will set you up to learn more complicated bindings (because you’re gonna fall in love with bookbinding!)
All materials provided. Suitable for older teens and adults.
Masks are optional in the studio, but please wear a mask if you are feeling sick.
REFUND POLICY: We will refund you if you need to cancel 48 hours prior to class start. We will also refund day of ONLY in the case of illness, but you must tell us same day. No refunds or credits if you no show without notice prior to the start of the class.
inPrint is located at 58 Wade Ave, Unit 8A in Toronto, ON. We are a five minute walk from Lansdowne Station. At this time, our studio space is not mobility-friendly.
