In this class, gain an introduction to resin, safe handling guidelines and the different kinds of resin, creating projects that merge creativity and convenience. During weeks 1 and 2, participants will decorate table caddies with abstract pours and natural elements. Weeks 3 and 4 will focus on creating a marbled lazy Susan with delicate pouring techniques and mineral embellishments.
All materials are included in the cost of each workshop. All projects are created within one session and can be picked up after a minimum of 48 hours of curing time on-site, date and time to be arranged with the TO Live admin via email at communities@tolive.com.
Classes will take place at Meridian Hall – Rehearsal Hall.

Arefa Hararwala, a resin and mixed media artist, discovered her passion for resin as a medium a few years ago and has been wholeheartedly immersed in it ever since. Her profound connection with nature and the energy emanating from crystals is a recurring motif in her versatile creations, spanning functional art, home decor, wall art, and even exquisite jewelry.
Discovering her passion for painting and creative expression later in life is not the disadvantage one might assume. For what she lacks in formal training is overshadowed by her maturity, work ethic and confident self-awareness achieved only through life experience.
Arefa’s artistic journey has seen her participate in numerous shows and markets, including the RAW Artists Canada. Her works have graced the prestigious Holcim Gallery in Milton, and she has conducted engaging resin workshops in collaboration with TO Live.
