Mallard Supper Series: Fried Chicken & Caviar! at Mallard – Washington DC

Our Supper Series returns to Mallard! Join us on April 9th for an exclusive communal dining experience featuring four dishes from Chef Hamilton Johnson involving two of our favorites: fried chicken and caviar!

Guests will begin with a welcome cocktail and light snacks at the bar, then will move to the private dining area for a communal four-course, family-style dinner with optional curated wine pairings.

THE MENU

First Course

Spring Onion Panna Cotta | pickled spring onion, yuzu, smoked trout roe, fried chicken skin

Wine pairing: Jean-Paul Brun – Terres Dorees, Charme Extra Brut Blanc de Blanc Cremant de Bourgogne

Second Course

Chicken Liver Tartine | black true crema, bell pepper jam, duck egg, bitter greens, hackleback roe

Wine pairing: Azores Wine Company, Rose Vulcanico, Saborinho Blend, Pico, Azores, Portugal 2023

Third Course

Dill Pickle Brined Fried Chicken | macaroni gratin, braised greens, sweet onion crème fraiche, paddlesh roe, buttermilk biscuits

Wine pairing: Domaine Borgeot, Santenay Vieilles Vignes, Pinot Noir, Burgundy, France 2020

Fourth Course

Homestyle Nana’ Puddin | roasted banana, banana mousse, vanilla chantilly, nilla wafers, wild turkey caramel

Wine pairing: Chateau Les Justices, Sauternes, Bordeaux, France 2022

Due to the communal nature of this dinner, we will not be able to make large changes to the menu to accomodate allergies. Small changes will be approved by Chef on a case by case basis. 20% of the ticket price will go directly to our service team as a gratuity.
