In-Person Class: Wine Tasting 101 (NYC) at STATE Grill and Bar – New York, NY

Join us in the Empire State Building for a one-of-a-kind wine tasting experience!

Enjoy a relaxed, intimate setting where you can explore and savor an array of exceptional wines, perfect for both newcomers and enthusiasts alike. This experience is designed for both beginners and seasoned wine lovers, ensuring everyone leaves with a newfound ability to discern acidity, alcohol levels, tannins, and sweetness. Together, we’ll explore various wine regions and delve into how factors like soil, sunlight, altitude, and proximity to large bodies of water shape the unique characteristics in each glass. Guided by our expert Sommelier, you will taste and contrast six different wines. There will be a Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon for you to taste (based on availability).

From identifying flavor profiles to understanding grape characteristics, you’ll gain invaluable insights into the captivating world of wine. Our mission is to spark your passion and refine your palate, empowering you to appreciate wine on a deeper level and enjoy each sip with newfound awareness.

No experience is required! We provide all the wine, glassware, and materials. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. 21+ only.
