Freedom LA x OC Japan Fair – Lantern Release Event

Location: Freedom LA Stage (inside OC Japan Fair)

Time: Saturday, April 5th, 8:00 PM

Join us as we count down and release lanterns, sending your wishes skyward! These LED-lit, helium-filled lanterns float like balloons but stay safely grounded with a string and weight. Plus, you can take them home as a souvenir!

Pickup Time: Saturday, April 5th, 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM

*Lanterns cannot be picked up after 7:30 PM, and refunds are not available. Please be on time!

About Freedom LA:

We are a music festival from Japan celebrating Japanese music in the Los Angeles area, California. It is a live music concert event that showcases artists who live in the United States and Japan who are dedicated to Japanese music. The mission of this event is to promote the enjoyment of Japanese music, culture, drinks, and food.

Freedom LA is located inside of OC Japan Fair! Come join us for music at Freedom LA, stay for food, sake, and shops at OC Japan Fair!

Food Vendors:

55 food vendors are joining us this year! From street food to fresh and authentic sushi and sweets, vendors from all across Japan & US come to share Japanese food culture during this event. Enjoy the taste of the Japanese Umami.

Drinks:

Japanese Sake for tasting, Asahi Draft Beer, cute bottle juice, smoothie, matcha, boba, and more drinks are available!

Shop:

Shop from more than 200 vendors! Anime, Kimono, Crane games, Gatcha, and traditional Japanese items can be only found at OC Japan Fair!

Cosplay:

Come in cosplay! You can join us as your favorite character, and meet many cosplayers! We also have a cosplay show at OC stage on Saturday! (register required in advance)

Three Stages:

Freedom stage for Japanese music, OC stage for fun and entertainment, Nakamise stage for traditional performances! There will be a variety of performances such as traditional Japanese instruments, J-POP Music, Comedy shows, Tuna Cutting show, and more.

One-day: $150

GOLD ticket comes with:

Entrance Fee +1 drink ticket + 1 food ticket

*GOLD has its own seating area for a great view of the Freedom LA stage.

Children 6 and under & over 65 are FREE (no ticket required).

*We have limited ticket sales – tickets may sell out without notice, both in advance and at door.

*Tickets are scanned at entry and can not be used for multiple days.

*Ticket can be used to enter on any one day of our event April 4th, 5th, or 6th.

*Tickets are non-refundable for any reason.
