MiGirl Sauna Tent & Cold Plunge on GT Bay! – Traverse City, MI

MiGirl is renting a couple of sauna tents and hosting a night cold plunge at Clinch Park in Traverse City, omg! Join us (if you are crazy enough) on Wed., Feb. 19 – 5:30pm-7:30pm.

There will be 2 sauna tents – they each have a woodstove – and part of our fun is setting up the tents, stoves, benches – and stoking the fire! So come prepared to build our little saunas as a team – please someone show up with a sixth sense on how to build shite – and then enjoy them together. Once the fire is going, the tents warm up to 180-200 degrees in about 15 minutes. We can then take turns either dashing into the bay or heckling others to do so – then running back to the tents for warmth and good (warm) cheer!

Sunset is 6:16pm. So we will start in the light and end in the dark. Bring headlamps. If the night is clear, we will catch sunset AND see stars. Fingers crossed for a stunning view!

This event is BYOB / bring any snacks you’d like. Attire is your preference – swimsuits if you are going in the lake, loose-fitting clothing, robes, towels – bring what you’d like to wear. We will have a large sauna that seats 6-8 people and a second smaller sauna that seats 4-6. We can group up based on who knows how to stoke a WOOD STOVE, haha!!
