Discover a thriving, contemporary community of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops located north of the Historic District of Charleston. Enjoy a guided walking tour as you sample several local foods.

EXPERIENCE:

We’ll begin on the north end of Upper King, a street named for King Charles II of England and the main route into the early settlement of Charles Towne.
First up, you’ll dig into a mouthwatering breakfast pizza and at a local tavern frequented by the cast of Bravo’s Southern Charm.
Next, you’ll feel like you’re sitting in grandma’s kitchen again as you indulge in warm toasted banana bread topped with sea salt.
After which, you’ll discover one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, a hot little biscuit with a cult-like following.
Of course no visit to King St. would be complete without stopping to talk about our historic buildings that have been transformed into trendy sought after wedding venues.

Are you still hungry? We hope so! It wouldn’t be brunch without biting into some creamy handmade quiche served at the cutest little local coffee shop.
Now it’s time to cool down with a refreshing lemonade as you meander past the gorgeous homes and towering cathedrals that line nearby streets named after some of our historic residents.

And finally, as with all our tours, there’s also our delicious Secret Dish.
