The Curator Presents is a one-woman play that explores the feelings of isolation, fear, and hope experienced during the height of COVID. Madeline Esterhammer-Fic (she/her) will be playing the Curator, a character who works at the fictional COVID Museum of Chicago. By providing a platform for discussion and incorporating humor into the narrative, the play seeks to offer a space for healing and reflection on the challenges faced during the pandemic.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can. PLEASE NOTE: Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase in the Tickets section marked “General Admission”. Then add what you wish to pay in the in the Donations section. See image below for an example. Eventbrite is confusing and will indicate that you purchased one more ticket than you did. Don’t worry! We’re keeping track of ticket sales in the backend and will account for this error.
The show is on Saturday, Sept. 14th, 2024, at the Neo-Futurist Theater. The show begins at 7, but doors open at 6pm.
In addition to COVID, The Curator Presents discusses topics including disordered eating, family conflict, and sexuality. It is suitable for ages 13 and up.
