Get ready for an unforgettable in-person performance where smooth jazz meets the soulful vibes of D’Angelo. The “What It Is” Jazz Band is bringing all the grooves and good energy to the stage. Whether you’re a jazz lover or a D’Angelo fan, this night promises great music and good times. Come vibe with us and experience the magic live!
This Saturday at 4 PM, the “What It Is” jazz band will take the stage for a debut, pop-up, live jazz performance!
Their fresh and organic live jazz session will be a special tribute to D’Angelo, and dedication of his smooth, neo-soul and 90s R&B. 
It is going to be an incredible hour of live music, energy, and local art. Please come out to chill, enjoy the live set, and show some love for this young college band.

What It Is?— a fresh, talented jazz band made up of students from the University of Washington’s highly-regarded jazz program — will make their inaugural performance, playing a heartfelt musical tribute to the beloved American singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, D’Angelo, honoring his landmark contributions to the neo-soul movement of the 1990s.
