Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in the Tulum – Moon Palace area. Head to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary and learn about the importance of fauna preservation in an atmosphere of lush vegetation. Follow your guide through the sanctuary and learn about the animals and how many of these species were rescued from poachers.
Interact with different bird species, non-venomous snakes, and primates. Then, take an ATV ride through nature on a dirt road until you reach a spectacular cavern, approximately 2.5 million years old, filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. At the center of this cave is a cenote (sinkhole) with crystal-clear waters where you can swim. The cenote is illuminated with underwater lamps to showcase the stunning natural formations.
