Discover the most important mangrove reserve in Yucatán through a boat tour to see various birds such as pink flamingos and enjoy swimming on the most beautiful beach in the state
EXPERIENCE:
We arrive at the Celestún Biosphere Reserve, an ecotourism park in the state of Yucatan where we board a boat for a 2-hour tour of the mangroves, which includes visiting:
1. First, Bird Island, which is a resting area for a wide variety of local and migratory birds.
2. The junction of the sea and the estuary.
3. The pink flamingo sighting area.
4. We cross a mangrove tunnel.
5. Visit to a spring.
6. Mayan clay bath.
7. Visit to the Herradura ruins.
Afterwards we went to enjoy the beach, we arrived at Aunt Candi’s La Ramada restaurant which is located in front of the beach where you can use the sun loungers, bathrooms and showers, here the food is included, you will have free time to swim and explore the surroundings before starting the return to Mérida.
The tour lasts 9 hours (8am to 5pm) and is conducted in both languages (Spanish and English).
