EXPERIENCE:

As the sun dips below the horizon, take a walk on the wild side! On this one-mile walk through downtown Cortez, hear the stories of notorious outlaws like Butch Cassidy, the *Sundance Kid and Tom McCarty. You’ll also hear exciting and terrifying stories about the ghosts still hiding in Mesa Verde National Park, and how disregarding ancient teachings can bring hauntings to even the most well-meaning archeologist. The walk is approximately 1-mile in the downtown area with many stops, but limited seating options. The tour is family-friendly, although naturally as with all ghosts, death is discussed.
