In this session, we?ll explore what mentorship truly means in the early years sector ? breaking down common myths and uncovering the many ways you may already be participating in mentorship without even realizing it. Together, we?ll reflect on your own strengths, strategies, and approaches, helping you identify the mentor within yourself. Whether or not you hold a formal title or designated mentoring position, this session will empower you to see how you support, guide, and inspire others in your daily practice.
Kayla Paquette (she/her) is a registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated from Fanshawe College?s Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program in 2019. Prior to this role, Kayla worked as a Pedagogical Mentor for a childcare and early years centre. She looks forward to connecting with the broader community through Strive, offering her support in a greater capacity.
